The landscape for supporting a voluntary climate action program has changed. The global transition to net zero is accelerating and we expect businesses to show strong climate leadership.

As community expectations and internationally accepted norms around carbon accounting and climate disclosure evolve, so too should our program.

Climate Active has been helping incentivise voluntary action since 2010. We play a critical role in raising the bar for best-practice when it comes to voluntary climate action claims. We want to ensure emission reduction claims by businesses are credible and support consumer confidence. 

We will soon be opening a public consultation on the future direction of Climate Active.

We want to hear from you on issues that are important as the program evolves. We want our program to remain contemporary, credible and valuable to Australian businesses and the community into the future.
