In 2023, we ran a public consultation on proposed updates to the Climate Active program.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed their ideas to help shape the future direction of the program. All public submissions and the consultation paper can be viewed on the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) consultation hub.

While we consider changes to the program, Climate Active continues to process certifications in line with the current Standards.

An announcement about program reforms will be made later in 2024.
